Project Overview

Installation of solar carports in a shopping mall parking lot, providing shade for vehicles while generating clean energy.

The Challenge

Westside Mall wanted to reduce energy costs while enhancing customer experience by providing covered parking. They also wanted to prepare for increasing EV adoption among shoppers by adding charging stations.

Our Solution

We designed and installed solar carports covering 100 parking spaces, with a total capacity of 75kW. The carports were strategically placed in prime parking areas to maximize customer benefit. We integrated 10 EV charging stations powered by the solar array, with a smart management system to balance charging loads and mall energy needs.
